Hand Painted Designs by Lyn

Artist, Lyn Knapp is a native of New York's Capital Region. She lives in the cozy, suburban village of Loudonville (just outside of Albany) with Marty, her husband of over 30 years, and three beloved dogs. She took up painting several years ago as a soothing creative outlet after her father passed away. To her surprise, she unearthed a natural talent.
"It just seemed to flow," says Lyn. "I was so excited to see what I could do that it motivated me to push myself even further."

Today Lyn's style has evolved into a veritable cascade of color and whimsy immortalizing subjects from delicate wild flowers and adorable animals to placid winter scenes and everything in between. She is especially happy that her life partner in now on the business team as well. Lyn and Marty work together as his handcrafted wooden furniture becomes the canvas for her designs. Even her children are on board, helping with craft fairs and offering words of encouragement. Her grandchildren, Jarrod, Bryanna, and Ashlyn are inspirational, too.

"I love painting, seeing the design come together, and seeing how happy people are with what I paint for them. It's so fulfilling." She smiles. "I feel blessed for the love and support from my family and friends. It's made all the difference in this adventure."
